This Saturday, August 16th, we will again be treated to the vocal talents of Heather Batey's voice students. The always do a terrific job for us and we know that this year will be no exception. Please join us in supporting these fearless and talented performers.
Our featured nonprofit this Saturday will be Decoding Dyslexia of Alabama. Their aim is to raise dyslexia awareness, empower families to support their children and inform policy-makers on best practices to identify, remediate and support students with dyslexia in our public schools. Any parent of a dyslexic child (or a child that someone may suspect of having learning differences) or a parent who wants to work to improve school-based dyslexia services in our state is encouraged to join. Please support their efforts through the donation of your time or your dollars.
