This Saturday, at the Helena Market Days, we are excited to have Chef Joe Sciarrotta give a cooking demonstration at 10am. He will prepare Grilled marinated gulf shrimp topped with peachy tomato salsa, fresh chives and creamy polenta.

Chef Joe grew up in Metairie,  Louisiana. This explains his love for flavorful foods.  He is a graduate from the Culinary Institute of America, class 1995. He worked on private yacht's  traveling throughout the Caribbean and the United States. Chef Joe has lived in Helena, Alabama for the past eleven years with his wife Kathy and son Joey. He is currently the Executive Chef and the Food and Beverage Director at the Hilton on Hwy 280 and Perimeter Park. He has been an Executive Chef for over twenty years.
