You thought the Chef Demonstration at the market couldn't get any better but this Saturday at 9am we will feature two amazing chefs.

Helena Resident and Executive Chef Robert Kamm of the famed Renaissance Ross Bridge Golf Resort and Spa will be at the market. Chef Kamm has a wealth of international experience in the world of culinary arts. He has lived and worked in several foreign countries, apprenticed and trained at esteemed locations, and worked with some of the world’s most elite chefs prior to his tenure at Renaissance Ross Bridge.

Chef Bobby Beard also works at Ross Bridge Resort was in town recently at the Rio's Crawfish Boil for Two by Two rescue. He amazed everyone with his delicious recipes. I cannot say enough good things about the wonderful dishes that he created. It is exciting to have them both with us this weekend.

Charity Spotlight
We will have the lovely and talented Helena Belles as our featured charity. They will be selling flowers to raise money for the organization.

The ‘Helena Belles’ is a service organization, derived from the traditional Southern Belles in the South, that helps young women get involved in the Helena community. Exemplary young ladies who are in high school and residents of Helena, Alabama are invited to apply to become a Helena Belle for their High School years.

Helena Belles must be of good character, have a pleasant personality, be enrolled in school, maintain good grades for their entire term and enjoy the civic responsibility of serving their city and local charities.

Each Belle is required to complete a minimum of 25 hours of community service through the organization each year and is required to attend the Annual Garden Party in which they will be presented to the City of Helena. Belles are expected to conduct themselves in a way that will bring honor to the program.
